Hugo E. Artaza, DDS, is a compassionate, highly-skilled dentist and the founder of Artaza Dental in Katy, Texas. He specializes in family, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry services and has over four decades of experience in dental practice.
Dr. Artaza was born in Austin in 1955. For eight years of his youth, he lived in South America when Brown & Root assigned his father to Paraguay. While in South America, he became fluent in Spanish.
After graduating from Strake Jesuit College Preparatory in Houston, he attended Texas Tech University. Dr. Artaza graduated from The University of Texas HSC Dental Branch in Houston in 1981. He completed the four-year program in three years, graduating as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Artaza is a private practitioner with over 36 years of experience. He is a member in good standing in the Greater Houston Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, and the Pankey Institute.
Dr. Artaza is not your typical general dentist. He has spent his entire career perfecting numerous dental procedures he conducts, like dental implants, dental crowns, and emergency dentistry.
